Welcome to XMLable, your future online toolbox dedicated to XML (at least, I hope)! You'll find a variety of useful tools for working with XML, including those for SOAP web services, configuration files, XML Schema (XSLT), and much more.

For now, the number of tools is still limited, but new features will be added in the coming weeks and months.

XML is still used to exchange data between different systems, store structured information, and ensure interoperability between various platforms and technologies. Although it is still used in areas like web services (especially SOAP) or the storage of complex data (such as configurations or structured documents), its usage has decreased in favor of "simpler" formats like JSON.

XML remains appreciated for its readability and flexibility, but it suffers from verbosity and complexity, especially when it comes to processing and extracting data. This can make it less practical (I've sometimes struggled with the attributes and tags...) in modern applications, particularly for lightweight and fast data exchanges. In summary, XML is still relevant in certain sectors but is increasingly being replaced by more "efficient" and easy-to-handle formats like JSON.
